The Decemberists Set New Album Release
. The band's last album, the rock opera The Hazards of Love, was released in March of 2009. The album features guitar work from Peter Buck, of R.E.M. fame. Frontman Colin Meloy has said that R.E.M. have been a huge influence on The Decemberists' music.
