Kings of Leon To Headline Isle of Wight Festival
. The U.K. festival achieved legendary status for its momentous 1970 event, which including landmark performances by Jimi Hendrix and The Who, among others. Since being revived in 2001, the festival has become renowned for its eclectic lineups, which mix chart-topping artists with aspiring up-and-comers. Next year's festival will take place from June 10-12, at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight. As regards the Kings of Leon appearance, festival promoter John Giddings said, "We are proud to bring one of the world's biggest rock bands to the island on our 10th anniversary.
