Tanya Morgan Hitting the Road
. Making their way through the Mid-West and down the East Coast this December, Tanya Morgan will be joined by the likes of Big Pooh and his Hall Of Justus crew, including Chaundon, Joe Scudda, Jozeemo, and Big Dho and Warner Bros/Asylum artist Outasight for the Philly and Pittsburgh shows. "It's just nice to be on the road with people you know and respect outside of the music," Donwill explains of the collaboration. "We really only see each other at festivals so now we will have more time to chop it up." For some of the cities involved, this will be Tanya Morgan's first appearance since releasing Brooklynati in 2009. To commemorate the event, not only will fans get the opportunity to see a collection of their favorite hip-hop acts in the same room, but, thanks to tour sponsor Rocksmith Tokyo clothing, they may also be eligible for a handful of planned giveaways. While the prizes and nature of the giveaways have not yet been disclosed, Donwill promises that he's looking to reward those with the most energy, saying, "I'm only gonna give 'em away to the livest fans." One lucky fan will also have the chance to win NBA2k11, and should make their way to TanyaMorgan.net for additional info and entry rules. The tour dates are as follows: Wed, Dec. 1st - Philly, PA at Blockley Pourhouse "World AIDS Day Event" Click here to read today's full Day in Pop report Preview and Purchase Tanya Morgan CDs |
