Brooke Fraser Hits The Charts On His Own
. Flags has also achieved the #1 album and #1 single ("Something in the Water") in her home country of New Zealand and is the #3 album in Australia. Brooke's success in America is a true testament to her solid fan base, which has also put her on track for a close to sold out U.S. tour weeks in advance of its start. The tour, which starts November 9th at House of Blues in Houston, TX, will cross the country hitting legendary venues such as Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, Highline Ballroom in New York and El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. Fraser's second album, Albertine, was released in the U.S. in May 2008. After being featured on the iTunes homepage as an "Editor's Choice" selection, Albertine entered the Billboard Top 100 chart and climbed to No. 5 on the digital retailer's U.S. album chart. Fraser toured the States that fall, winning over audiences with her dry wit and warm stage presence.
