. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will begin a run of east coast dates at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. He'll play three shows in Jersey (December 14, 15 and 17) before rocking Madison Square Garden on December 19 and 29. It's expected that more dates will be announced. Although an official ticket announcement has not been made, WBLS claimed that tickets to the existing shows would go on sale on Saturday, October 30. According to the "Purple Rain" singer's press conference, the concerts will feature Maceo Parker, Cassandra Wilson, Janelle Monae, Sheila E., Mint Condition, Esperanza Spalding, Sinbad, the New Power Generation and others.
