Weezer fans have been in a bit of an uproar since guitarist Brian Bell divulged that Hurley was named after the Hurley clothing company (which is making Weezer-inspired shirts and hoodies) and not the Lost character, as was widely assumed. "We didn't want to have another self-titled album, because that's just confusing," Cuomo explained. "But yeah, we easily could have called it Jorge Garcia, the name of the actor who played Hurley.
