In celebration of release of their new album, Linkin Park will be performing a special show at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, NY [date not specified in the announcement]. MySpace Music will be releasing four songs, one each day, from footage filmed by Linkin Park/MySpace fans beginning September 17th. MySpace users attending the show will be helping film the show with their own portable cameras and their footage will be incorporated into the final cut of the performance.

NME reports that Marilyn Manson's directorial debut has been put on hold after a negative response to the film's violent trailer, according to reports. A Perfect Circle singer Maynard James Keenan and guitarist Billy Howerdel both tell RollingStone.com that they are working on new material, trading ideas over e-mail.
