Vanaprasta Announce 7 Inch Preview

Having recorded the majority of the record in Portland and at some of the most prestigious studios in Los Angeles, the band still wasn't able to capture the exact sound they were looking for. Into the picture walks Manny Nieto (HEALTH, The Breeders).

"Manny ended up taking our record and bringing all the tones out of the mix with this amazing room sound he has learned to use. The result was us immediately sounding bigger, trashier and much more raw. Minnesota and Skinny State were two of three tracks that were completely recorded in Manny's studio. I think the 7 inch shows a level that we wanted to take our music to that we would have never been able to get to unless we worked with Manny," says guitarist Collin Desha.

To top it off, the record was mastered by another well-known LA local Dave Cooley (Silversun Pickups, Local Natives).
