The Hush Now EP Release Show Tonight

. (Girlie) The Hush Now is gearing up to self-release their new EP, Shiver Me Starships, on September 28th, but New York fans don't have to wait that long to hear the new material! They'll be in town to night, September 24th, for an EP Release Show at The Living Room, 11pm.

A long-standing CMJ fave, the band was the 5th most added this week on the CMJ charts with the lead single, "Vietnam Giraffe", right up there with Weezer, Chromeo, and No Age!

The new EP is a follow up to the bands' successful album Constellations, which garnered them love from BBC's Radio 6, drawing comparisons to My Bloody Valentine, The Cure, Guided By Voices and more. Mixed by Benny Grotto (The Dresden Dolls) and mastered by Jeff Lipton (Arcade Fire, Magnetic Fields), Shiver Me Starships finds the band at its finest, creating melodic, atmospheric indie-rock.
