Incubus To Headline Benefit Concert
. While rescue efforts are currently underway, the mining company has unfortunately been forced to file for bankruptcy, meaning that while the miners await their rescue, they are not being paid their wages, causing serious hardships to their families and loved ones. That's where Incubus decided to step in. Upon hearing this, the band wanted to help in anyway they could so they decided to do what they do best offer a special headlining performance in Santiago, and donate their performance fee along with the proceeds from an auction being held via their Make Yourself Foundation that offers a chance to meet the band. The show, which will be filmed in HD and recorded live, is set to be released at a later date. Following the release of the band's latest album, Monuments & Melodies the band took a much needed break, allowing lead singer Brandon Boyd to release a solo album entitled, The Wild Trapeze on which Brandon penned every track and performed practically every instrument heard. The Wild Trapeze which is currently available at both www.enjoyincubus.com and iTunes, will be available physically at retail and all digital music stores on October 26th. Up next, the quintet (vocalist Brandon Boyd, guitarist Mike Einziger, bassist Ben Kenney, DJ Chris Kilmore and drummer Jose Pasillas) are currently back in the studio preparing their forthcoming new album targeted for a 2011 release. In addition to the benefit show in Santiago, Incubus will also headline the Cypress Hill Smoke Out Festival in Southern California on October 16th. You can catch Incubus playing hits from their extensive two decade career along with sneak peaks of a few new songs off their forthcoming studio album on the dates listed below.
