Paul Weller Finishes New Album

. (Gibson) If you are supposed to slow down in your 50s, no one has told Paul Weller. The seasoned English singer/guitarist has already recorded a follow up to 2010's Wake Up the Nation.

He told U.K. radio station XFM: "The album is all ready to go. Maybe this year, hopefully." Weller's new album is yet to be titled.

"It seems to be taking its own character this time," Weller said. "Sonically it's still pushing things, but still with good melodies, and lyrically I'm trying to stretch myself. I've tried to make the words more impressionistic, tried to write in different ways. more on this story
