Scorpions To Revisit Classic Songs

. (Gibson) According to Blabbermouth, Scorpions touring bassist Pawel Maciwoda disclosed that the band was planning to head into the studio this fall to re-record several of their best-known tracks for a new collection.

Speaking on the Polish TV show, Dzien Dobry TVN, Maciwoda said that the group planned to release the album early next year. The Polish-born bassist has toured with the German metal band since 2003.

Meanwhile, the group's Get Your Sting and Blackout World Tour continues in Europe through July. Highlights include a nine-date sweep through Russia and festival appearances in Belgium and Lebanon. more on this story
