(Gibson) Grunge legends and famous frontmen Dave Grohl and Eddie Vedder hit a Seattle stage on Wednesday night for an impromptu performance, according to Spin.com. Along with Pat Smear, they joined Mike Watt (The Minutemen, The Stooges) during his show with the Missingmen at the Triple Door club.

The Pearl Jam and Nirvana guys go back a long way with Watt. In 1995, they all toured together Vedder was with his side project, Hovercraft, and Grohl and Smear had just begun the Foo Fighters.

Wednesday night, they all teamed up for "Big Train," a track off Watt's 1994 album Ball-Hog or Tug Boat?, which included contributions from all three musicians. Grohl took to the drum kit while Vedder and Smear strapped on guitars. more on this story
