Red Hot Chili Peppers TV Special

(Gibson) The Red Hot Chili Peppers will release their new album, I'm with You, on August 30. That same day, the long-running rockers also will play a show in California that will be broadcast worldwide via cable channel Fuse.

The Chili Peppers will perform new and old songs at The Roxy in Hollywood at 9 p.m. ET, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. The concert will follow an interview with the group's members singer Anthony Kiedis, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and new lead guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.

In the interview, the boys are sure to discuss the departure of guitarist John Frusciante, who left the Chili Peppers before sessions for the new album began. more on this story
