Green Day Set March Release Date

. (Gibson) Green Day have a new live album, titled Awesome as [Expletive], coming out. The release, recorded during the band's tour to support 21st Century Breakdown, is due on March 15.

Green Day recently released a trailer for the album (watch it below), featuring a 2009 performance of "Know Your Enemy." Billie Joe Armstrong and pals also revealed that Awesome as [Expletive] will come as a two-disc, CD/DVD set. This is the second time Green Day have done this, having released the CD/DVD set Bullet in a Bible in 2005.

A track list has yet to be announced, but "Know Your Enemy" and other 21st Century Breakdown tracks are a good bet. So is the unreleased "Cigarettes," which was played during Green Day's summer 2010 tour, and accompanied Armstrong's first hints about the live album when they were in Denver. more on this story
