Pulp Singer Jarvis Cocker Sets Book Release
. Cocker explained the books: "When [Pulp's lyrics] were reproduced on the record sleeves, it always used to say 'N.B. please do not read the words while listening to the recordings.' But I've accumulated a certain amount of work now and I think a lot of the appeal is that Faber have published a lot of poets I like. The idea that I could be allowed on the same shelf is very flattering. So I went back and looked at the words, and with that passage of time I realized some of them were alright." Cocker and a reunited Pulp recently played Glastonbury and will perform at the Reading and Leeds festival in August. more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
