. Bootsy Collins will be appearing in support of recently released critically acclaimed album "Tha Funk Capitol of the World." Rising to prominence playing bass guitar for James Brown in the late 1960s, and with Parliament Funkadelic in the 1970s, Bootsy's thunderous, infectious bass guitar and humorous vocals established him as one of the leading pioneers in funk. In 1997 Collins, along with 15 other members of Parliament Funkadelic, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
