(The Metal Den) TMD has obtained rare concert audio of Motley Crue performing the song "Merry Go Round" at the Country Club on October 2, 1981.

The track comes off their debut album entitled Too Fast For Love, which was released in November of the same year. This audio is making its debut on YouTube.

As the story goes, Nikki Sixx wrote the tune about a real life family man that lost his mind due to life's pressures. The young bassist/songwriter had actually witnessed him riding endlessly on a neighborhood merry-go-round, looking as if he had totally gone insane. more on this story
