Pearl Jam Hope to Have New Album Done This Year

. (hennemusic) Pearl Jam hit the studio in April to work on new music, and things are moving along faster than expected.

"I don't want to jinx it," Eddie Vedder tells Rolling Stone from a Los Angeles studio, as the band works on their 10th studio album. "But it's on!"

"We did a whole bunch of demos and everybody's got a disc of 25 [songs] right now," bassist Jeff Ament told Billboard back in March. "April will be the time where we get together and learn to play all these demos and figure out which 12-15 of them float to the top.
