A Funky Summer Journey
. Guitarist Neal Schon recently told Ultimate Classic Rock about Journey's set list selection. "We have the greatest hits we have to play that every night," he said. "We have all these great ballads, which have already proven themselves and people wanna hear every night, so I mean, where do we find room to stick more of this new stuff in our set, when we have an hour-and-a-half to play? "I felt there were a lot of grooves that we were missing in our set; funky rock grooves and stuff like that, and I just felt ready for more [of] what I wanted to play on stage." more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for the Day in Rock.
