Jack White Won't Rock For Kinks Film
. Davies last week said US comedian and producer Bobcat Goldthwait was preparing to start work on a film version of the band's 1976 concept record Schoolboys In Disgrace. The frontman said: "Jack's a great technical player and would bring some great anarchy to it, which is in keeping with the script Bobcat's written." But White has released a statement distancing himself from the project.
