Noel Gallagher New Music Hoax

. (Gibson) Yesterday, news sites picked up some tweets from Noel Gallagher on a site calling itself the official Twitter account for Noel Gallagher giving details of release dates for his much-anticipated new recordings.

The so-called Gallagher tweet read: "So we can finally announce details about Noel's solo release. Single release date: 22.08.2011. Album release date: 12.09.2011."

However, Exclaim.ca did some investigating and unearthed a tweet at the Oasis Twitter page refuting the legitimacy of the supposed Gallagher site: "Contrary to reports Noel is not presently on Twitter. Any account using his name is fake so please ignore them. Cheers!" more on this story
