. (Gibson) Ex-Stone Roses guitarist John Squire will launch a London art exhibition next month featuring his personal interpretations of modern celebrities.

NME.com reports that the exhibition, John Squire: Celebrity, focuses on Squire's use of traditional Islamic designs to depict famous people such as Woody Allen, Albert Einstein, Lindsay Lohan, Keira Knightley and David Beckham.

Squire's art career began with designing Stone Roses album covers. Since his first exhibition in 2004, Squire has shown his art all over the world, from Austria to Tokyo. more on this story
