Futurebirds Offering Up Holiday Road Super Single

. Futurebirds are releasing their Holiday Road Super Single, which will be sold exclusively at all shows of their upcoming Holiday Road Tour in December.

The four-song split single features the driving jangle of brand new Futurebirds track "Serial Bowls" and their languid and atmospheric cover of "nearsayerfive" by eddie the wheel (who plays in Holiday Road touring mate grass giraffes).

The single also includes grass giraffes remix of "Megachills" (from Futurebirds' 2009 debut S/T EP) as well as a grass giraffes original, "Don't Forget Me". A free download of their "nearsayerfive" cover is available via Futurebirds' Facebook page.

Following three early December dates with Lucero, Futurebirds' Holiday Road Tour will launch on the 7th at the Grey Eagle in Asheville, NC. The tour includes a December 12th show at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn, NY and will continue through the 17th, when it will wrap up at the Bottletree in Birmingham, AL. Futurebirds will also host their 4th annual hometown 'Tidings for Tikes' show at the 40 Watt Club on December 6th, where all fans who bring a toy to the show will receive a $2 discount on admission.
