How Zakk Wylde Caught The Christmas Spirit
. The jolly set features "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Oh Little Town of Bethlehem" and "It's a Wonderful World." Wylde recently told Gibson.com that he had a blast getting into the holiday spirit with the EP. "You know, it's like with the cover songs that we do, it's always fun recording songs by your favorite artists," he said. "For covers, whether it's 'Heart of Gold' or 'Can't Find My Way Home' or 'Bridge Over Troubled Water,' I'll just be going out to get something to eat for lunch or something like that, and I'll turn on the radio and I always listen to classic rock and I'll just put the radio station on and be like, 'Oh, look, that song's amazing. When we get back to the Vatican [Wylde's recording studio], let's record that one.' With any great music, it's great to cover it once in a while, and that's what we did with these Christmas songs. I really enjoyed it." more on this story Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
