The Monkees May Return To The Road

(Gibson) This past summer saw three of the four original Monkees reunite for a 45th anniversary tour. That tour broke down prematurely after 43 shows, but guitarist Peter Tork says the '60s pop group will likely hit the road again in the not-too-distant future.

"It would probably be in the next year or two," Tork told RollingStone.com, when asked how long the wait might be. "But obviously nothing is settled yet, and until we see a settlement in sight, we can't even begin to arrange a tour. Once you start arranging a tour, you may be able to get it mounted about six or seven months down the road."

Tork declined to offer details regarding why this year's tour was abruptly halted. "There were some business affairs that couldn't be coordinated correctly," he said. "We hit a glitch and there was just this weird dislocation at one point. I can't say anything more�" more on this story
