(Gibson) For rock fans who like their comic books digitized, here's one for you: Kurt Cobain: The Graphic Novel is now available on the iPad.

The app tells the story of Cobain's troubled personal life, legendary music and work with Nirvana with striking visuals, according to a press release.

The book was written by Barnaby Legg and Jim McCarthy with art by Flameboy. Users can take in each page at once, or zoom into each frame in great detail. Kurt Cobain: The Graphic Novel is available for $5.99 on iTunes. more on this story
