Check Out Johnny Depp and Keith Richards Jam

(hennemusic) Johnny Depp is sure making the musical rounds as he promotes his new film, "The Rum Diary."

Last week in Austin, Depp went back to his musical roots and joined former P bandmate Bill Carter for a surprise set at The Continental Club; the pair were joined by ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons.

Tuesday, in New York, Depp pulled out the guitar after the film's premiere and jammed at the afterparty, held at the Hiro Ballroom in Manhattan's Maritime Hotel. This time, the jam included another Depp friend, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. Richards and Depp united to play one song: "Key to the Highway," a blues standard by Charlie Segar re-recorded by the Stones in 1964. Check out video here
