Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe Sets Chart Record

(popmusiclife) Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" continues to dominate the US pop charts. This week, the smash hit marked it's 9th week at #1 on the Billboard 100, giving the Canadian singer the longest-running US chart-topper of 2012.

"Call Me Maybe"'s 9th week set the new record after being tied with Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know," which held down top spot for 8 weeks earlier this year.
