Lil Wayne In Backstage Brawl
. Lil Wayne showed up to the Power 106 Cali Christmas show to perform his verse on Kendrick Lamar's song "No Worries." Unfortunately "no worries" did NOT influence the rest of the night and somehow Lil Wayne ended up in fisticuffs. "Punches were thrown but no arrests were made," an eyewitness tells Hollyscoop exclusively, "It was a serious fight and was witnessed by everyone who was backstage." It's unclear what they were fighting about or who the other guy was. Lil Wayne's Twitter account does not shed any light on the situation. His last tweet was sent late last night and it was about his skater-clothes brand, Trukfit. We can only imagine what he was fighting about. Here are some possibilities: 1) Rihanna Whenever anyone has a fight, we should double check to make sure it isn't about Rihanna first. 2) Someone who hates skateboarding- Somebody backstage might have offended the art of skateboarding, obviously Lil Wayne had to defend it. 3) Rap Beefs In General In general, being a part of the rap community probably means you are involved in at least one "rap beef." Fighting with other rappers is kind of a "thing," just ask Drake, 50 Cent, or Eminem. They are pretty pro at rap beefing by now. Who knows who Weezy was beefing with backstage? 4) Rick Ross - My best guess is that Lil Wayne was feuding was Rick Ross. These two rappers reportedly got into a serious fight backstage at the BET Hip Hop awards back in September. Their beef got so bad, cops showed up and hosed everyone down with pepper spray. Hollyscoop submitted this story.
