Scarlett Johansson Photo Hacker Sentenced To 10 Years in Prison
. 35-year-old Florida man Christopher Chaney received the sentence on Monday from U.S. District Court Judge S. James Otero, who also ordered the hacker to pay restitution of $66,179, according to the Los Angeles Times. He was facing up to 60-years in prison prior to the plea agreement. The judge passed down the sentence after hearing evidence that Chaney broke into the email accounts of dozens of celebrities and obtained naked photos of them and other personal information from the accounts. The Times reports that he then forwarded the photos and information to another hacker and two celebrity websites where they were published, according to a plea agreement.
