Van Halen's David Lee Roth Wishes Fans Happy Appalachia Holiday
. Some of the first Van Halen videos and images posted in advance of the release of "A Different Kind Of Truth" in February featured Roth and his sheepdogs. "A lot of folks have emailed us and accosted me on the street about the dog world videos," explained the singer. "These are my sheepdogs - this is Mike. We're going to the Nationals � we got invited to the Nationals last time but we didn't quite make it; we were making the Van Halen record." The video features all kinds of herding dog moves as Mike and another dog, Ben, follow Roth's instructions while herding sheep and cattle, respectively.
