Slash's Valentine
. "When I was doing the last solo record," begins Slash, "I was looking for a producer and I found a handful of records that Eric Valentine had doneand I loved how diverse his tastes were. I hooked up with Eric and played him some demos and, somehow, he just managed to catch on [to] exactly what was going on in my head. Sowe just clicked right away." Slash's as-yet-untitled album is due May 22, and he begins a mini-US tour on May 3 in Baltimore, with dates booked throughout the month of May.
