(hennemusic) Deep Purple are in Nashville working on a new album and band members Roger Glover, Ian Paice and Don Airey took part in a July 15th benefit show.

The concert was for Jamie Simmons, a local bass player who was severely injured in a motorcycle accident earlier this year.

The Purple members teamed up with Mike Simmons (guitar) and vocalist Greg Mangus at the Mercury Lounge to jam out a couple of classics, including "Space Truckin'" and "Woman From Tokyo." Check out video here.
