(Classic Rock) A rock concert in Florida featuring Job For A Cowboy was halted last night after venue owners were warned a member of the audience was armed and planning to shoot and stab people.

The Summer Slaughter tour stop at the Ritz in Tampa was suspended for two hours when police were called to investigate. No one was injured during the incident.

Officers evacuated the venue and searched fans for weapons before allowing the event to continue. "A note was passed to the bartender stating that during our set a man with two knives and a gun was going to hurt people," Job For A Cowboy drummer Jon 'Charn' Rice told Blabbermouth . "Cops were called, and after the proper precautions were taken the show set off again, albeit a bit behind. No one was hurt and everyone involved is safe."
