Former Girls Frontman Christopher Owens Plans Solo Tour

. (PH) Former Girls frontman Christopher Owens has announced his first North American tour as a solo artist.

Owens and his 7-piece band will stop in several North American cities following the January release of his debut solo album, Lysandre, including two nights at Manhattan's Bowery Ballroom.

Owens new album, Lysandre, written, recorded and sequenced as a complete narrative, was inspired by the events of Girls' first ever tour in the summer of 2008.

Described by Owens as, "A coming of age story, a road trip story, a love story", the album will be released on January 15th 2013 on Fat Possum and on Turnstile for the rest of the world.
