Johnny Boyd Touring in December

. Johnny Boyd is preparing to kick off a West Coast tour on December 4, 2012 in Spokane, WA.

Set lists will incorporate songs from both his solo catalog (including tunes from his recently-released Never Been Blue) and from his stint as the front man for the renowned major label band Indigo Swing.

Boyd's tour coincides with the August 2012 release of his third solo album, Never Been Blue, on Cliffdive Records. Says Boyd of the album: "I want the listener to feel like they are in the room and close to the people making the music. And while there are many different musical styles and genres that inspired this album, the thread that runs through all of the songs is one of reflection for the valuable gifts in your life; gifts that you've already received and perhaps overlooked. "
