The Doors Legend Jim Morrison Explained Why Fat Is Beautiful

. (Classic Rock) The Doors frontman Jim Morrison once weighed 185lb and loved it. In a 1969 interview, recently rediscovered and animated for a PBS TV series, he discusses how he planned his college days around visits to the campus cafeteria.

Morrison tells journalist Howard Smith: "I felt so great. I felt like a tank, like a large mammal � a big beast. When I moved through the corridors I'd just feel like I could knock anybody out of my way.

"It's terrible to be thin and wispy because you could get knocked over by a strong wind or something. fat is beautiful." Watch the video here.
