(Radio.com) Country duo Florida Georgia Line released their debut single "Cruise" last summer, and it propelled them onto the radio airwaves and up the country charts. The song went all the way to Number One, and it helped them receive their first of three nominations at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards.

Radio.com sat down with Florida Georgia Line's Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard to talk all things ACMs. Having already won their first award, the fan-voted New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year, the band is hopeful they'll be adding two more to their collection this Sunday: Vocal Duo of the Year and New Artist of the Year.

"It's one of those things that it feels good to be part of country music and the country music family," Kelley said. "A year ago we were sitting on the couch eating pizza and watching the awards. Growing up watching the awards, dreaming of being up there one day, or being nominated.

"Already winning one and being nominated for two more with such amazing artists, it's really cool to us and for where we come from. Hopefully we'll take home a win and maybe some blackjack money. It's an honor. It's very humbling." more on this story
