Motley Crue's Nikki Sixx (Not) Close to Casting His Broadway Musical
. (hennemusic) Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx is sharing an update on the satatus of his forthcoming Broadway musical, The Heroin Diaries. "It's not gonna be Mamma Mia!," Sixx tells the New York Post, reports Broadway World. "�We�re moving quickly [but are not] close to casting." Last year, Nikki told the BBC that he intends for the show to open in "late 2013 or early 2014." The musical is based on Sixx's autobiography, "The Heroin Diaries: A Year In The Life Of A Shattered Rock Star." The book chronicled 1986 to 1987, the year in his life where he succumbed to heroin and cocaine and includes views from the people who witnessed the plummet.
