Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson has announced that he will be teaming up with Yardbirds legend Jeff Beck to launch a coheadlining North American fall tour.

Wilson and Beck will be kicking off the tour on September 27th in Hollywood, FL at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino and will conclude the trek on October 27th in Akron, OH at the EJ Thomas Performance Arts center.

Wilson and Beck will also be joined on the tour by Wilson's former Beach Boys bandmates Al Jardine and David Marks on the tour, according to the announcement.

The idea for the tour came after Beck collaborated with Wilson in the studio recently as a guest star on the former Beach Boys mastermind's forthcoming studio album.

"Jeff is one of the most amazing guitarists I've ever worked with and his vibe is inspiring," says Wilson. "I feel having Jeff Beck co-headline with me is a cool and exciting addition.

"We've got some new tunes we want to try out on a live crowd as well as doing some great music from our catalogues."
