Jack White Recording New Songs With The Dead Weather
. Yesterday morning (August 29), White's Third Man Records tweeted a photo of The Dead Weather with the message, "Working on new songs in the studio yesterday (and searching for bodies)." An accompanying photo features the bandWhite, The Kills' Alison Mosshart, bassist Jack Lawrence and guitarist Dean Fertita, who is also in Queens of the Stone Agejust posing in front of a backhoe like it's no big deal. While the tweet surprised some, White was already hinting that there was another record in the works earlier this year telling Rolling Stone that band had recorded "some things," but a new album was dependent on when the members of the band could find some time away from their other respective projects. "Our things pick their place for us. We don't really sit down and pick them Like, the Kills make a record or Queens of the Stone Age makes a record, I make a record, and it all falls into place, you know?," he said. more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
