Pearl Jam Shave Fan's Head On Stage

(hennemusic) Pearl Jam played a request before frontman Eddie Vedder shaved a fan's dreadlocks off during their show in Spokane, Washington on Saturday, and video of the event has surfaced.

Jambase reports Vedder noticed a fan holding a sign that said that he would shave his head in exchange for the band performing "Brain Of J", the opening song from their 1998 album, "Yield."

Eddie brought the man on stage, who told him he wanted to headbang with the dreads one last time and, after a short discussion, Pearl Jam agreed and launched into the tune with the fan headbanging throughout the song.

Vedder then cut off the dreads while the rest of the band vamped on a blues progression. Watch video here.
