U2's The Joshua Tree Enters Grammy Hall of Fame

(hennemusic) U2's landmark 1987 album, "The Joshua Tree", is among the new entrees into the 2014 Grammy Hall Of Fame. U2's smash is among 27 recordings announced Tuesday by The Recording Academy for induction in 2014.

The Irish rockers' biggest album spawned three hit singles ("With Or Without You", "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" and "Where The Streets Have No Name") on its way to selling more than 25 million copies worldwide, including 10 million in the U.S. alone.

Rock albums joining U2 include Neil Young's "After The Gold Rush", George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass", Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Cosmo's Factory" and the Woodstock soundtrack. more on this story
