Johnny Marr Launching North American Solo Tour
. Kicking off in Las Vegas on April 11, the three-week trek will follow several U.K. dates slated for March. The North American tour includes two shows with New Order and performances both weekends of the Coachella Festival. Set for release on February 26, The Messenger is said by Details magazine to "hark back to the '80s with chiming, effects-laden guitars and dreamy vocals." The album was written and produced by Marr, who recorded in Manchester and in Berlin.
