They report that Brown was not jailed but is due back in court next month for a probation violation hearing and if he is found to have violated his probation he could face up to four years in jail.

Brown was recently charged with misdemeanor counts of hit-and-run and driving without a valid license while he was still on probation for the assault on the pop star Rhianna.

Prior to the judge's ruling Chris Brown tweeted, "I did everything I was suppose to do during the so called hit n run, I provided the correct info. There were no injuries or damages. C'mon!!"
