Houston Announce New Album Release

(Classic Rock) Houston have confirmed that their second album will be called II, and the new effort is due for release on September 2nd in the UK. The Swedish outfit's 2010 self-titled debut was listed at Number One in Classic Rock Magazine's best AOR albums list for that year, while single Truth Slips was named 17th-best overall track of the year.

The 10-track record sees producer and keyboardist Ricky Delin become a full-time member alongside vocalist Hank Erix and drummer Freddie Allen. Celebrated session man Tommy Denander recorded some of the guitar parts.

Allen says the final tracklist was selected from "a ton" of potential material. "Only the really good tunes made the cut we wouldn't release an album with okay songs," he reports. more on this story
