(The Blues) Ian Siegal and the Mississippi Mudbloods, Bernard Allison and Royal Southern Brotherhood will headline this year's Carlisle Blues-Rock Festival on November 8, 9 and 10.

The even � nominated in the Best Festival category of the British Blues Awards for four years in a row � aims to mix big names with rising stars to offer a bill which presents as much variety as possible.

Organisers say: "It doesn't guarantee to please everyone all of the time � but it does promise to please the vast majority of the audience for the most of the time." more on this story
