Avenged Sevenfold Discuss 'Hail To The King' In New Video Interview
. They'll release their sixth full-length studio record on August 26. It's their first work to be entirely created without input from late drummer Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan, who died in 2009. In the magazine guitarist Synyster Gates discusses how his band compare to some of the biggest in the world, saying: "The amazing thing about the Metallicas and the Iron Maidens is that they're so timeless, they still resonate with the youth, and that's f**king incredible. Those bands are still holding on to the torch, they've not passed it on. But I definitely feel that we're heading their way." Check out the video interview here.
