Kings Of Leon, Bob Weir, Slayer Lead Live Digital Music Festival
. While Weir performs from San Francisco, Kings of Leon will broadcast their previously announced American Express Unstaged performance from London, which will be directed by comedian Fred Armisen. Other artists on the bill include metal acts Slayer, Anthrax and Lamb of God, rapper Mos Def, country acts Thompson Square and Lukas Nelson, among many others. The concert will be sponsored by IROCKE, a platform that streams concerts online. Forever Fest will be streamed at 4EVRFEST.com. "So, we're looking at some Big Fun here with Forever Festival: live music from around the world, much of it going down at the same time, like the regular festival, without the mud," Weir said. "If you're not into what's in front of you, you go to another stage, only you let your fingers do the walking and you stay on the couch, or on the bed, or whatever" On Aug. 7, Weir will share his insights as an artist before he performs with Scaring the Children, a group that includes Rob Wasserman, Jay Lane, Jeff Chimenti and Lukas Nelson.
